Welcome to Signature Society. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Signature Society website, including your purchase and use of products offered through the website.
Throughout these Terms, “Signature Society,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Signature Society, LLC, doing business as Signature Society.
By accessing our website, placing an order, purchasing a product, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the website or making a purchase.
1. Online Store Terms
By using this website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.
You may not use our products, website, or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any applicable law in connection with your use of the website or our products.
You agree to use Signature Society products only for their intended purposes and in accordance with applicable instructions, warnings, safety information, and care guidance supplied with the product or published by Signature Society.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, unauthorized resale, abuse of promotional offers, or violation of these Terms.
2. Products and Product Information
Signature Society creates and curates luxury beauty, personal-care, self care, and lifestyle products.
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately, including their materials, dimensions, finishes, colors, characteristics, functions, and other specifications.
Because computer and mobile displays vary, we cannot guarantee that colors or finishes displayed electronically will precisely reproduce the appearance of a physical product.
Product photographs, renderings, illustrations, measurements, and descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Minor variations may occur where consistent with the nature, manufacture, materials, or intended function of the product.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products, finishes, packaging, specifications, components, or other product details from time to time, provided that such changes do not affect orders already accepted where prohibited by applicable law.
3. Natural Materials and Individual Variation
Certain Signature Society products incorporate natural or naturally variable materials and finishes, including marble, wood, horn, cellulose acetate, leather, hair, stone, and other materials selected for their distinctive character.
Variations in color, tone, veining, grain, pattern, texture, markings, translucency, or other visual characteristics are inherent to these materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece.
Accordingly, the product you receive may not be visually identical to photographs or samples displayed on our website. Naturally occurring variations, by themselves, are not defects; however, this provision does not excuse manufacturing defects, structural damage, or products that materially fail to conform to their descriptions or applicable warranties.
Natural materials may also develop subtle changes in appearance or character with age and use.
Proper care should be taken in accordance with any care instructions accompanying the product or published on our website.
4. Pricing and Availability
All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Prices, product availability, promotions, and offers may change without notice.
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, or other information.
If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law, which may include contacting you for instructions or canceling and refunding the affected order.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated and disclosed as part of the checkout process.
5. Orders
Submission of an order does not necessarily constitute our acceptance of that order.
We reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order, including orders that appear to result from fraud, pricing or inventory errors, unauthorized commercial resale, misuse of promotional offers, or other improper activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original form of payment.
6. Payment
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information for all orders.
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment services may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping options, estimated processing times, shipping charges, and applicable restrictions are described in our Shipping Policy and/or during checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Signature Society is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to any rights available to you under applicable law.
If we become unable to ship an order within the time represented to you, we will handle the delay, cancellation, or refund as required by applicable law.
8. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Eligible returns are issued as Signature Society store credit or an exchange.
For eligible discretionary returns (including change-of-mind returns), a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned merchandise, excluding separately stated taxes and shipping charges, will be deducted from the store credit issued for the returned merchandise, to the extent permitted by law. The fee and any applicable return-shipping charges will be disclosed in our Return & Refund Policy and, where required, before purchase. No restocking fee will be charged for merchandise that is defective when received or for an item shipped incorrectly by Signature Society. This provision does not limit statutory rights or remedies.
Certain products may be subject to return restrictions where appropriate for hygiene, personal-care, customization, final-sale, safety, or other reasons, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any such restrictions will be disclosed in the applicable policy or product information.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
9. Product Care and Proper Use
Signature Society products should be used only for their intended purposes and in accordance with all instructions, warnings, safety information, and care guidance accompanying the product or published on our website.
Customers are responsible for reading and following applicable product instructions and warnings before use.
Products incorporating marble, wood, plated metals, cellulose acetate, natural hair, horn, leather, or other specialty materials may require particular care.
Failure to follow applicable care and use instructions may result in deterioration, discoloration, scratching, corrosion, breakage, reduced performance, or other damage and may affect any warranty or remedy otherwise available, to the extent permitted by law.
Products should not be modified, disassembled, repaired, altered, or used with incompatible components except as expressly authorized or instructed by Signature Society.
If a product becomes damaged, loose, deformed, broken, excessively worn, or otherwise appears unsafe, discontinue use until the product or affected component has been appropriately replaced, repaired, or otherwise determined to be suitable for continued use.
10. Razors, Blades and Sharp-Edge Safety
Certain Signature Society products contain razor blades, sharpened cutting edges, self care components, or other functional elements capable of causing cuts, lacerations, irritation, or other injury if handled or used improperly.
Razor blades and cutting edges are sharp and must be handled with care.
Razors, shaving cartridges, blades, dermaplaning instruments, and other products incorporating sharpened cutting edges should be used only for their intended self care purposes and in accordance with all instructions, warnings, and safety information accompanying the product or published by Signature Society.
Users should avoid unnecessary direct contact with sharpened cutting edges.
Do not intentionally apply excessive pressure during use. Do not use a razor, blade, cartridge, or cutting component for a purpose for which it was not designed or in a manner inconsistent with the instructions provided.
Do not use any razor, blade cartridge, cutting component, or other self care instrument that is damaged, deformed, cracked, loose, broken, improperly assembled, improperly installed, excessively worn, corroded, or otherwise appears unsafe.
Discontinue use immediately if a blade, cartridge, handle, attachment, or other component becomes damaged or unstable during use.
Replace removable blade cartridges and other replaceable cutting components as appropriate and in accordance with applicable product instructions.
Use only cartridges, replacement components, accessories, and attachments identified by Signature Society as compatible with the applicable product. Unauthorized modification or use of incompatible components may affect the safety and performance of the product.
Keep razors, replacement cartridges, blades, dermaplaning instruments, and other sharpened components out of the reach of children and persons who cannot safely handle them.
Store unused and replacement blades and cartridges securely, protect exposed cutting edges when handling or transporting them, and follow product-specific instructions for safe cartridge removal, replacement, and disposal.
Dispose of used or damaged blades and cartridges carefully and in accordance with applicable instructions and local requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signature Society is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation or replacement of components, use of incompatible or unauthorized components, failure to follow instructions or warnings, use of a damaged or unsafe product, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits any liability, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited.
11. Personal-Care Information
Information provided through the Signature Society website, product packaging, instructions, customer communications, or other materials is provided for general product-use and informational purposes.
Cosmetic and skincare products, including hydrogel eye patches, should be used only as directed on their labels and accompanying instructions. Avoid use on damaged or irritated skin where product directions so advise; discontinue use if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs. Product-specific warnings and precautions take precedence over general website guidance.
Nothing provided by Signature Society is intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you experience an unexpected or significant injury, irritation, reaction, or other health concern in connection with use of a product, discontinue use and seek appropriate professional advice or medical attention where warranted.
Third-Party AI Information. Information about our products generated by unaffiliated AI assistants or third-party automated systems may be inaccurate and is not necessarily reviewed or endorsed by Signature Society. Consult official product labels, instructions, and safety warnings before use. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for Signature Society’s own statements or products.
12. Intellectual Property
The Signature Society website and its contents, including product designs, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade dress, product names, written copy, packaging designs, illustrations, videos, and other creative materials, are owned by or licensed to Signature Society and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by us, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, display, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, or otherwise use our protected materials without prior written authorization.
AI-Assisted Misuse of Protected Materials. Users may not use AI, automated design systems, or similar technology to infringe Signature Society’s enforceable intellectual-property rights or to create or distribute misleading commercial imitations of protected designs, images, packaging, trademarks, or trade dress. The use of AI does not excuse infringement, but these Terms do not prohibit lawful independent creation or other permitted uses.
AI and Machine Learning Restrictions. Except as expressly authorized in writing by Signature Society, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, users may not systematically extract, reproduce, compile, or use website content—including photographs, product designs, descriptions, specifications, trademarks, and other materials—to develop, train, fine-tune, test, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems. This restriction applies to automated scraping and manual collection for those purposes. It does not prohibit activities that cannot lawfully be restricted or confer rights beyond those available under applicable law.
No purchase of a Signature Society product transfers any intellectual-property rights in the product, its design, packaging, branding, or associated materials.
13. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or malicious activity; interfere with the operation or security of the website; introduce malicious code; scrape or systematically extract website content without authorization; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or attempt to obtain unauthorized access to our systems or accounts.
Automated Access and Impersonation. Except as expressly authorized or permitted by applicable law, users may not use bots, scrapers, automated agents, or similar tools to systematically collect protected website content, interfere with website operations, or bypass access controls. Users may not use AI-generated images, audio, text, or other synthetic media to falsely impersonate Signature Society or mislead consumers about product source, sponsorship, affiliation, or authenticity. Ordinary lawful search-engine indexing and other authorized access are not prohibited.
You may not knowingly use Signature Society products for unlawful purposes or intentionally misuse, alter, or modify products in a manner that creates an unreasonable risk of injury or damage.
14. Customer Content and Reviews
If you submit photographs, reviews, comments, feedback, suggestions, or other content to Signature Society, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
To the extent permitted by law, you grant Signature Society a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute content that you voluntarily submit for purposes reasonably related to operating, promoting, and improving Signature Society and its products.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to provide an honest review or opinion about Signature Society, our products, or your experience with us.
Review Authenticity. Reviews, ratings, and testimonials submitted through our website must reflect genuine experiences or honestly held opinions. Users may not submit fabricated, impersonated, or materially deceptive reviews, including AI-generated reviews that falsely represent actual product use or purchase. We may moderate or remove deceptive submissions as permitted by law. This provision does not restrict truthful positive or negative reviews.
15. Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment processors, shipping providers, social-media platforms, or other services.
Those services are operated independently from Signature Society and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services except to the extent required by applicable law.
16. Privacy
Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. Any standard product warranty expressly offered by Signature Society is governed by its separately published or accompanying written warranty terms, including applicable coverage, duration, exclusions, and claims procedures. Any optional paid protection plan or service contract, if offered, will be governed by separate written terms disclosed before purchase.
Product descriptions, care information, instructions, and other materials are intended to assist customers in selecting, using, and caring for Signature Society products but do not create warranties beyond any express warranty specifically provided by Signature Society.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signature Society and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the website or purchase or use of our products.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signature Society will not be responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from or attributable to misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation or replacement of components, use of incompatible or unauthorized components, failure to follow product instructions or warnings, continued use after a product becomes damaged or unsafe, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed.
The foregoing provisions are not intended to exclude or limit liability for a defective product, personal injury, or other matter to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits liability, warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited, including any rights or remedies available under applicable product-safety, product-liability, or consumer-protection law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signature Society and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from or relating to:
- your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website;
- your material violation of these Terms;
- your infringement or violation of another person's rights; or
- your intentional or unlawful misuse, unauthorized modification, or unauthorized commercial use of a Signature Society product.
This provision does not require you to indemnify Signature Society for claims to the extent caused by conduct or liability for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.
20. Governing Law; Forum; and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and disputes arising out of or relating to the website, purchases, or products are governed by Tennessee law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, lawsuits relating to these Terms shall be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Tennessee, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where a consumer has a non-waivable right to proceed elsewhere. The parties are encouraged to seek informal resolution before filing suit, but informal discussions are not a mandatory prerequisite to pursuing legal remedies.
Nothing in this Section excludes or limits any non-waivable consumer, product-safety, product-liability, warranty, or other legal right or remedy.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, product-specific instructions and warnings where incorporated or applicable, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and purchases through it.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, website, or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted or required by law.
